Buying tobacco in Logan: delivery, rules and checks

Logan stretches between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, a large catchment where “metro delivery” covers everything from dense town centres to semi-rural blocks.
| Check | What to expect |
|---|---|
| State rule | Queensland — health-law regulation, no retail licence |
| Typical delivery | 1–3 business days to south-east Queensland |
| Age check | Adult signature and ID at the door |
| Pack sizes | Sealed packs of 20 or more; singles illegal |
Delivering to Logan
Logan is well serviced from both Brisbane and Gold Coast warehouses, with typical windows of 1–3 business days. The variation is at the edges: acreage properties and rural addresses can sit outside standard run sheets, so check coverage if that is your address.
Coverage at the edges of Logan
- Town-centre addresses get standard metro windows.
- Acreage and rural blocks may need a carrier that services them — ask before ordering.
- Adult signature required regardless of property size.
Before you order — four checks that never change
- Price against the excise floor. Duty is $1.55274 a stick from 1 September 2026 — about $31 in a 20-pack and $310 in a carton. Logan is two delivery markets in one — know which one your address is in.
- The pack in the photo. Legal Australian stock is drab brown (Pantone 448C) with graphic warnings covering at least 75% of the front and 90% of the back — no logos, no brand artwork.
- Age and delivery. Distance sellers must verify you are 18 or over, and somebody who can sign and show ID has to be at the address. Lockers and unstaffed addresses can be refused.
- State rules. South Australia prohibits mail and online tobacco orders outright; everywhere else requires an age-verification system.
